CRUISIN’ AROUND THE WORLD, COOL GRRRLS KICK ASS AGAIN!

LOS ANGELES–Fresh off their first killer compilation CD, CoolGrrrls.com loudly introduces a new batch of bad-ass bebop. Their second compilation, Cool Grrrls Kick Ass! Cruisin’ Around the World, features more of the hottest girl bands worldwide.
From Cordoba, Argentina to Paris, France, down to Melbourne and back up to NYC, this stellar CD gives you a taste of what bad grrrls of the planet are crooning and creating today. And, let me tell you, it’s not sugar and spice and everything nice–it’s guitars and sass and all that kicks ass!
From L.A.’s own Devil Doll’s opening number "St. Christopher," this compilation lets you know that girls really do wanna have fun. The Hi-Tops from Munich, Germany contribute the ultimate bubblegum pop tune, titled–what else?–"Bubblegum." Curlee Wurlee from the City of Light urge us ‘femmes’ not to panic in "Pas de Panique," while Detroit’s Sirens (featuring the one and only Melody-licious) sing of the wonders of Maximes. Appropriate to the compilation title, The Charms from Boston laud the beauty of cruisin’ with the top down and, picking up on that theme, NYC’s Kowalski’s (featuring our very own NY @ nite correspondent Miss Kitty) sing of leaving Las Vegas (or is it LA?) en route to Barstow. But when Get the Girl screams "Shut Up!" and Candy Ass professes that we "Ain’t Like You," we realize that these strong, independent, and musically gifted women do have more than fun on their minds–and they will be heard!

Coolgrrrls, the worldwide grrrls guide to all that grooves, is putting together yet another killer CD compilation of music created by cool grrrls. We're looking for girl fronted bands and artists with talent, originality, style and substance! Any and all types of music are welcome: rock, garage, soul, funk, folk, punk, metal, world music, hip-hop -- everything! So if you're in a band, if you're a singer-songwriter, or if you know a cool grrrl who is, send us a CD, and the Cool Grrrls will choose the best of the best and feature their song on our 3rd Coolgrrrls compilation CD! There is no charge for submission or production to any of the bands, but there is no pay either for production or royalties, since the CD will be used primarily as a promotional tool for the site and the bands included on the CD. The finished Cool Grrrls compilation will also be available on the site for a nominal cost of $7.00 for our readers. All submissions must be mastered and production-ready, and must include a signed authorization form. Bands selected will receive copies of the finished compilation.
